AWS Lambda is definitely the New Hotness - it allows you to run functions in the cloud with no persistent infrastructure! This has the following benefits:
1. Only pay for what you use - no ongoing costs
2. Hugely scalable

I have been thinking that Firebase real time capability combined with AWS Lambda might be killer combination to take us into this new server less age. What do you think?
