Shifting towards Android Developer Nanodegree from Google and Udacity
Hundreds of students are joining our Android program, and soon thousands more will join. We want our students to be recognized as Android Developers worldwide. Therefore, from now on in all our Native Android courses in Saylani, Sir Syed Univeristy, and All Pakistan Memon Federation we will be preparing our students to get the Android Developer Nanodegree.

Our Android course will be divided into three parts:
1. Version Control using Git
2. Object-Oriented Programming using Java
3. Preparation for Android Developer Nanodegree
In part 3 of our program students will complete all the projects (eight right now) required to be completed by the Nanodegree program.
As a first step our teachers Zeeshan Hanif, Mohammed Tuaha Ahmed, and Gulshan Ara will try to get this Nanodegree in three months. After August 1 only those who hold Android Developer Nanodegree will be teaching in our Android programs. Before the end of 2016 all our developers will hold this Nanodegree.
The documentation of the Nanodegree states that:
"It take a novice programmer 9 months or longer to complete, spending an estimated 10 hours per week on the coursework."
We will require our students to study about 20 hrs/wk therefore it should take about 4.5 months to complete the Nanodegree.
The only issue is that the Nanodegree is a bit expensive for Pakistani students i.e. $199/month. In order to reduce the cost we will ask our students to only register for the course after they have completed the preparation for the Nanodegree, thus reducing the cost. Udacity also gives a refund of 50% of the cost if completed within 9 months. Thus we can complete this Nanodegree in very little cost, and get a designation that is recognized worldwide.
Soon we will have hundreds of Pakistanis holding Android Developer Nanodegree designation.
