I just received a call from student of a university in Karachi. He is a CS graduate and graduated about two years back. He is still unable to find a job :( He wanted me to give him an internship. I receive these kinds of calls every day.
My friends how do I tell you guys that employers do not hire people because they are graduates. What they are looking for is someone who can help them make money. Therefore the question is what can you do to help a company earn revenues. Our students don't even understand this simple fact of life :( The result is that there are millions of "educated" unemployed people in Pakistan, while the business cannot find skilled employees and are not able to grow.
Our fictitious education system and the skills gap it has created is destroying Pakistan and the lives of millions of our citizens. If you are one of them correct the situation now.
But remember you cannot blame anyone else, you yourself are responsible for your own life.
